Picardia Smiley Face With Sunglasses Figure

For this project I decided to make a 3D printed figure of the Picardia smiley face with sunglasses meme. The figure uses two ball and socket joints in the main body to post the arms/hands. Image I used as reference for the model
Sketch of the main body with the ball and socket joints. This sketch is then revolved to form the basic shape of the body and the ball and socket joints.
Sketch used to cut slots into the sockets of the ball and socket joints. This is done to allow the socket to widen in order to connect to the ball into the joint.
A sketch of the smiley face and sunglasses was created in inkscape and imported into the model. This sketch was then extruded in various ways to create the face and sunglasses on the model.
Small sketch on the back of the initial sunglasses extrusion used to create the rims of the sunglasses.
I created a sketch of the thumbs-up hand in inkscape and imported this sketch to create the the thumbs-up hand of the model.
The same was also done for the ‘ok’ hand.
Lastly a small rectangle was sketched near the bottom of the model and then used in an extruded cut to flatten the bottom of the model.
