Photo of the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid in Memphis Tennessee

For this project I chose to create a 3D model of the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid in Memphis Tennessee. While I think the building itself looks very cool, I must confess that most of my inspiration came from the youtube video Bass Pro Shops Pyramid by Timotainment as I love surreal memes.

The initial top view canvas used to model most of the features.
The other four canvases used to help model various details on the model
The initial sketch for the base of the model.
Sketch to start cutting the sides of the pyramid out of a rectangular prism. This is then repeated on one of the sides to finish shaping the pyramid.
Quick sketch to to shape the slopes on the base.
Yet another quick sketch to shape slopes on the base.
Yet again a quick sketch used to shape the slopes on the base.
Sketch with the same purpose as the above. The resulting extruded cut had to be mirrored over to the other side so as to not cut through the walkways.
A new sketch plane was created diagonally through the pyramid. The sketch above was used to create the distinctive diagonal split the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid has.
Sketch created to make the entrance of the building.
Sketch created make the viewing platforms near the top of the pyramid. This was copied over to the other three sides.
I imported an SVG file I created of the Bass Pro Shops logo in order to create the extruded logo on the building.
Another SVG file was imported to make the extruded Ducks Unlimited logo.
Sketch created to make the indented areas on the back of the base of the building.
Another Set of indented areas on one of the sides of the base of the building, the resulting extrusion was then mirrored to cover the other side of the building.
Final sketch created on the bottom of the building to create the tapered extrusion that hollows out the interior of the building.
