UNH Wildcat – CaPS

For a prop design, I designed the Wildcat statue in which is presented at Durham. The Career and Professional Success Office will be displaying the 3D printed Wildcat Design as soon as you step into the office. For now, the design is unpainted but will soon be painted to reflect the Wildcat Statue.

The creation of the miniature statue of the Wildcat Statue was fairly simple.

First, The statue was design through the use of inserting a canvas to allow me to help model

the Wildcat. The face section was designed to have more precise detail .

The base was made simple by sketching out a rectangle and font was added to say Career and Professional Success.

Since this was two separate objects, to have them be attached once printed, I made it possible for it to come together just perfectly based on how big the foot was from the Cat.

The size is the same of the tube created with the hole in the leg of the Cat.

Here is a better view to how it looks.

Once printed, it was easy to put both pieces together. One thing in which was affected were the “University of New Hampshire at Manchester” it did not print out well in which I had to file down. It be wise to make them the same as the above lettering and enlarge the size of the top letters
